Weight-Management Shifting to Breakfast Cereals, Shakes and Bars, even Kellogg's

-->
Donuts and coffee at the drive-through in the
morning are now being replaced with healthier choices.

Thanks to innovative companies
who realize the potential with clients who choose to watch their weight, there are now easy ways
to start the day with a healthy breakfast,
and in some cases, even eat it on the way to work.

A recent article in the Winnipeg Free Press heralded the plan of Kellogg's to further develop its Special K product line "to move in step with evolving trends where weight watchers are increasingly looking for added nutritional benefits, rather than just counting calories."

The company is adding a special Knourish hot cereal with toppings, and already has shakes and bars in its line-up.   Their Special K website is now a more sophisticated weight management information center.

One problem noted, was that the calories in the products may be low, but according to Michael Jacobson, executive director of the Center for Science in the public Interest,  "they're full of corn syrup and a long list of other ingredients people may not recognise.  It probably provides 90 calories of a tasty snack but it's not a health food."

Another Alternative is a Scientific Approach to Weight Management

Healthy, balanced nutritional shakes and bars are available through USANA Health Sciences, which collaborates with prominent institutions such as the Linus Pauling Institute, to advance the world's understanding for the effects of nutrition on health.

In addition, USANA's in-house team of 25 - plus scientists, works closely with the Scientific Advisory Board of top health experts, to get valuable insights into product applications and efficacy, as well as feedback on how best to promote human health.

We have personally used the USANA shakes and bars, plus their personalized supplement program for some years now.  They keep our metabolism balanced and take away our carb cravings, a major problem for many people.  They make a great meal and snack replacement, with options to add fresh or frozen fruit, tofu and yogurt to the shakes.

Please contact us for further information on the USANA products.

We know you will love them!
