Fitness and Healthy Choices are More Important than "Fatness"


There has been a constant barrage of articles condemning those who are overweight or obese.  Yet, many studies show that attention to fitness, whatever your weight, is the key to longevity.  In fact, being a little overweight can be a good thing.

It's always positive to take charge of your health, to set yourself on the right track for a  healthy weight and fitness.  The key is to make positive lifestyle changes for a better, healthier body.

Jumpstart Your Life
 
The 5-Day Jumpstart Phase is a nutritionally balanced system to help you kick carbohydrate cravings and quickly lose those first few pounds. Think of it as the beginning to a new you. All the instructions you need are right there in the kit.  

Transform into a New You
 
After you finish the Jumpstart Phase, make sure you are ready to continue with RESET in the Transform Phase. This is the phase when the majority of RESET users achieve their ideal weight, and it helps make the most of the healthy habits you developed in the Jumpstart Phase.

 In the Transform Phase, replace two meals with Nutrimeal shakes, eat one low-glycemic meal, and eat one USANA Nutrition Bar and one other low-glycemic food as snacks. Follow a moderate exercise program, and continue to take your USANA Essentials™ or HealthPak™.  

Maintain Your Changes
 
Once you've reached your weight-loss goals, it's time to move on to the Maintain Phase. Simply replace one meal a day with a Nutrimeal shake, eat two low-glycemic meals, and eat one USANA Nutrition Bar and one other low-glycemic food as snacks. You should continue a moderate exercise program, and keep taking your USANA Essentials or HealthPak.  

Remember, RESET is not about starvation—you won't go hungry on any phase in this program. If you find yourself feeling hungry during the Transform or Maintain Phases, eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit as extra snacks, or add them to your low-glycemic meals.
