Obesity Grows Again in North America

Time magazine reported this week that America's waistline is growing again, and we can be pretty certain that Canada has much the same statistics.

"An August 13 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that more than a third of U.S. adults were obese in 2011, and the number of states with a very high percentage of obese adults has reached 12."Time Magazine, August 27, 2012

The shock of obesity has nothing to do with a person's looks, but everything to do with their long term health.  Being overweight can lead to complications like Diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, stroke and more.

People magazine constantly features people who have successfully lost weight, which gives hope to those who may have given up.

We always recommend the USANA RESET program, which combines exercise, low glycemic meals and the nutritious low glycemic Nutrimeals and Nutrition Bars for meals and snacks.  (Check the country for prices, as they vary)

Busy lifestyles often include fast food choices, lack of exercise and poor food choices at home, all contribute to obesity.  If you or someone you know, is struggling with this issue and is ready to seriously take action, please have them consider the USANA scientific approach.  It's delicious and provides a balanced way to take the weight off and keep it off.
