Five Ways to Stay Healthy For Your Kids and Grandkids



Here's how to keep and improve your health for a long life, in order to be active with your kids and grandkids, whether that is right now, or 20 years into the future.

1.  Happiness is a choice, no matter what the circumstances.  Determine to see the good in everyone and everything.  Learn from challenges with a happy heart.

2.  Lift weights in the gym or at home, so you can lift your kids and grandkids.   Your muscles and bones need daily exercise to stay strong for your lifetime.   Work with exercise bands in your home and office.  Do pushups, situps and take a brisk 30 minute walk every day.

3.   Yes, eat your fresh veggies and fruit, fiber and protein.   You know that.   Be a role model who avoids fast foods, too much sugar and bad fats.  Relax at your meals, chewing every spoonful at least 10 times.  Make mealtimes a fun social event.

4.  Supplement with the best nutritionals on the market.  Don't trust your health to the lowest bidder!  You couldn't get everything from your food that you need each day, even with the best dietician on board, so give your cells the extras at optimal levels.  That's a good way to do your part for staying vibrant and fit.

5.  Add the extras, like drinking pure water throughout the day, brushing and flossing your teeth with a fluoride-free toothpaste.
