Soy Protein My Help Reduce Blood Pressure

Soy protein in your diet may be an important nutritional strategy for the prevention or treatment of hypertension, according to a recent meta-analysis.

The data from 27 previous randomized clinical trials was compiled and analyzed as a whole.  Treatment groups were given a diet that contained soy protein, while control groups were given a non-soy protein based diet.

The results of the study show a noteworthy decrease in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the test group over the control group.

USANA's Vanilla Nutrimeal shake contains soy protein isolate and soy fibre.  We incorporate this into our breakfast shakes every morning, sometimes adding it to the strawberry or chocolate flavors.  Delicious and good for you too!
