Jennifer Azzi : How to Attract Athletes and Influencers

In her newest book, "You're It! Athletes, Influencers and YOU" Jennifer Azzi, Olympic Gold Medalist, professional athlete, and sought after motivational speaker, addresses how to approach and leverage athletes and influencers to help you build your business.

This book deals especially with a Usana business, but can be applied to any business.

At the end of the day, she says, we all have the power to influence, regardless of our backgrounds. If you have a belief in the USANA products and the USANA vision, you will see that you have everything you need to build a strong USANA business.

On page 12 in her book, she lists 10 tips for approaching elite athletes, trainers and coaches. Then, on page 15, she gives tips for sharing the business with those same people. It's worth buying the book, just for those tips, as they apply to everyone you meet.

Another chapter deals with utilizing Usana influencers. This includes telling the stories of the diversity of successful leaders and athletes in Usana, who have experienced wonderful results with the products and the business. Some of those people are right beside you.

"They want to make a change in their lives and work hard to share the vision and make a difference in the lives of others. They have the ability to move beyond fear and go for it," Jennifer writes, "While I believe there is a way to leverage elite-level athletes and people of influence in your business, you are ultimately an influencer."

Jennifer then gives us tips for becoming the influencer (page 23)

  1. Deanna,
So glad to see you're loving the book. I know Jennifer was really excited about this project. I think "You're It!" has lots of great examples of how to use your influence (and the influence of others) to promote the USANA vision.

    Thanks for the post!
