Be an Olympian in Business

"It is no sin to attempt and fail. The only sin is to NOT make the attempt."

The Olympic athletes
who competed in Vancouver all valiantly made the attempt. Whether they won a medal or not, they won, knowing they gave it their all. They experienced the joys and frustrations of developing their skills and overcoming obstacles. That's the reward of the journey.

The person who shared Usana with us, failed six times. We just weren't listening. So, he had another friend call me, saying, "Deanna, don't be so stubborn. Look at Usana. It's high science. The products will change your life. Then, you'll tell others and they will thank you forever." That did it. We agreed to hear the whole story.

Think of yourself as an Olympian in business. It's a journey of honing your skills, learning how to communicate more effectively. Caring more about others than yourself. Helping to solve people's problems with their health or finances. Welcoming new friends into your life.

And like an Olympian, never give up! Athletes fall short of their goals constantly, but they press forward and experience the joy of overcoming obstacles. We can all do the same as we share this great company, the products and the financial opportunity with others.

Who can you bless today with a smile, a word of encouragement, or a message of hope with what Usana has to offer? Be an Olympian. Be an overcomer. That's my goal.
